Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you get in touch, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep things simple: we only hold the details you give us so we can reply to your enquiry.

Last updated 24 June 2026.

Who we are

Studio Creative provides social media, branding and creative content for the dance and performing arts world. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Studio Creative is the data controller for the information described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can reach us at info@studio-creative.uk.

What we collect

When you complete our contact form or message us directly, we collect only what you choose to share, which is typically:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your studio or school name and type
  • What you are looking for help with and the package you are interested in
  • Your message, and a preferred time to talk if you ask us to call

We do not collect any special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through the website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information for one main reason: to read, reply to and manage your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, namely responding to people who have asked to hear from us. If you go on to work with us, we will also process your details to perform our contract with you. We will never sell your information, and we will not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We keep your information to ourselves wherever possible. We only rely on a small number of trusted service providers that help us run the business, and they may process your data on our behalf:

  • Resend, which delivers the enquiry email to us and the holding email to you
  • Vercel, which hosts the website

These providers act under our instructions and are bound by their own data protection obligations. We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We hold your information only for as long as we need it. If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete your details once the conversation has clearly come to an end, and within 12 months at the latest. If you become a client, we keep your information for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We only use the essential cookies needed for the site to work and to keep it secure.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
  • Ask us to transfer your information to another provider

To exercise any of these rights, just email us at info@studio-creative.uk. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

We would always rather hear from you first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
